We have been working hard on some exciting updates across our ecosystem so let's dive right in and bring you up to speed on what's new at GPTZero.

Here's a summary of the content we'll be covering in this post:

  • Sources surfacing feature release
  • Request Edits is now in Beta
  • AI Unpacked: Our teacher's guide to discussing AI in the classroom
  • Dashboard AI Scan UI Refresh
  • GPTZero For Education
  • The confidence + mixed results view is now available on the website and Chrome extension

Sources Surfacing is now available to all users

The plagiarism scans and AI copyright checks on the GPTZero main website are now live and available to all users. For a while, GPTZero users have been able to run plagiarism checks via the dashboard. After receiving lots of positive feedback, we decided to bring that capability to the main website.

In addition, we've added a new feature that allows you to run AI copyright checks and take a peak under the hood to see which LLMs have been trained on datasets that may contain similar text.

Requests Edits (Now in Beta)

The "Request Edits" feature is currently in Beta with more users being granted access each day. If you're interested in getting early access, fill out this form and we'll let you know when you've been granted access.

AI Unpacked: A teacher’s companion to discussing AI in class

AI is not a transient technology, but rather a fixture in education. To empower educators to engage critically with AI in the classroom, we did research and packaged our findings in a handbook. Our brand-new handbook is available for free on our website.

Here's what you can expect to find within:

  • Thoughts from 100+ educators on pertinent AI issues, from how their students use AI to official campus AI policy
  • A script with talking points for addressing AI writing in student work
  • Best practices for students and teachers on incorporating AI
  • A real-life case study of how one writing professor addresses AI in class

Download your copy of the AI Upacked handbook here.

Dashboard AI Scan UI Refresh

GPTZero dashboard's refreshed AI scan view

To improve the AI scanning experience on the dashboard, we reviewed the interface and worked on decluttering, reorganizing, and simplifying it. We love this new design because it keeps your main task in focus and surfaces all the scan options available to you in a non-intrusive way. Let us know how you feel about the refresh.

GPTZero For Education

The limited-time discounted pricing for Education users

Confidence + Mixed results view is now on the website and Chrome extension
